Moving On

I have found peace within myself
Coming to terms with my past
A past I regret whole heartedly
Where darkness reined free.
I am moving on in life, in the light
My past forgotten, forgiven
My present as bright as  the sun
The future yet to be written.
You have to look deep inside
To see all of yourself, learn yourself
Learn to forgive the past you lived
Learn to forgive yourself and others.
Make peace within your heart
Accept what cannot be changed
Find the courage to move on
Change what you can and live.
