Moving On

Moving On

we are human tuning forks
vibrating to our own frequencies
searching for the rhythm and the pulse
of the universe
the peace of mind
we're looking to find
the occasional perfect moment
to prove we're not blind
so I accept my flaws
and their probable cause
because in the last place to dream
there can be no laws

Congratulations Kevin. Comparing us with a tuning fork is brilliant.

Congratulations, Kevin. It takes us a long time to accept our flaws...a long time, sometimes, just to identify them. Enjoyed reading this piece.

Interesting how laws are viewed as restrictions. However when we embrace the laws of the universe they provide us with true freedom. It is when we fight them that we cause ourselves and others pain. A bird is not fighting gravity, it uses the laws of gravity to soar to great heights. I like that your piece has caused me to ponder. Congratulations on your win.
