Moving On

A lonely day turns into night,
The dawn will never come again,
But this is such a perfect sight
That's worth all this incessant pain.

I may not see the light of day.
I'll set the fires on my own,
And they will burn and guide my way
That'll lead me to the world unknown.

But I'm not scared. I know, it's right
To leave this shattered world behind
And find a life that's worth the fight.
It will be hard, but I don't mind.
