Moving Bones

We live in a world where it’s accepted that we cry.
We live in a country where it’s accepted that we die.

Tears that come from pain that we and only us know.
Death from lies cast upon us by our very own.

We live in fear every single day.
Fear that Covid’s here and here to stay.

The mental fatigue of finding a path through this valley.
Seeing our people suffer so much because of their broken promises and that lie tally!

We live in fear of the unknown.
We live in fear that as a people we are just regarded as moving bones.
