Movement Ahead

I have seen where men go, when they are lost

I have seen where men go when they are lost

the bright star he held when he was younger
                                                 he can not reach

the bright star he held when he was younger
                                                 he can not reach

winter seems longer now, and summer, not much fun

winter seems longer now, and summer not much fun

"I will wait for you" his brother said,

"and teach you how to find tomorrow again"

      teach you

                 how to find tomorrow

                                       ........again

This poem has a good message, ending with encouragment. It is hard to face the difference between our dream and the reality for anyone, but we must never stop bridging the gap. Each generation will benefit from that effort and the result is progress. Though provoking poetry Jim. Thank you for sharing and thank you for your comments on my poem. :) Caroline.

True, these things of the past, don't entice anymore, as they did in younger days. New time, new interest. Sincerely, Moses
