Move On

I must move on keep goals in sight make haste while there is sun and light. More roads to walk more hills to climb before the dark and cold of night. Sandra M. Haight

Amen, Sandra, when we stop moving and stop learning, we stop living ... reminds me of Robert Frost, wonderful rhythm and rhyme ... congrats on your win, friend! :-) <3

Reading your poem, I was reminded of Frost's "miles to go before I sleep". Very nice one, Sandra - good luck in the contest.

Thank you, Agnes. Actually, I had entered a longer version of this poem in a contest here last year whereby we had to write a poem in the style of our favorite poet, and mine is indeed Robert Frost, and the poem you mention was the one I was using as a guide! You know your poets well! Thanks for the nice comment. Hugs, Sandra
