Mourning the Relationship I'Ve Not Yet Left

The sun is shining no need to feel down
Everyone is happy for skies without cloud
My head is hanging down to the ground
Mourning the relationship I've not yet left

The fields so green, green as the trees,
Sea and sky fight for position of blue
I have sad where once there was glad
Mourning the relationship I've not yet left

I was a pit of fire from the day I was born
Giving warmth but will burn if close enough to touch
Trying to harbour in the middle of the sea
Mourning the relationship I've not yet left

Something is missing from way deep within
When one whole breaks into two parts
Falling from branches of trees we used to hide
Mourning the relationship I've not yet left

You were mine and I was yours complete
Smoke rising from a faraway stream
Hedged on insecurity, nothing felt sure
Mourning the relationship I've not yet left
