Mourning Dew Drop
. for public domain
Each teardrop from her cheek,
bore her grief,
and grazed the coffin near the altar.
The grange hall chapel was so quiet.
A few hollers away,
on her porch,
she weeps beside an empty chair,
in shadows of tall grassy knobs.
