Mountainside

the majestic and
picturesque snow
capped mountains
left me
captivated

the view was
breathtaking
inhaling the
fresh air was
invigorating

the tranquil breeze
skimmed the surface
of my skin
and left me breathless

peace and serenity
assailed my senses

Such a lovely read as you place the reader there as well to enjoy the view, the feelings that you experience. Very well written. Michael

Hi Deneen Ahhh, you make me feel write at home. Looking out my study window I see the snow capped mountain range. This morning it was 15 degrees out. My cat stuck her nose out the door and turned to come back in with a sour puss look on her face. Winter has arrived here in Alaska. Sending warm thoughts your way my friend. Love Light Truth Patricia

We live just south of Mt. Shasta in Northern California, and West of Mt. Lassen (both vocano mountains). Your poem makes me cherish both mountains even more....I will step outside and appreciate them more today! Lovely! ~ Carrie
