Mother's Love

No need to cry and hide from shame
My arms to hold you and hide your pain
I walk this path to light your way
This road you chose, so dark and grey
The battle you fight is yours alone
Not wanting your place here at home
I’ve watched you fall…
I’ve felt your pain…
A touch of your hand as you push me away
I beg the past for one more day
To give you love and hope you'll stay
Let go the past come ease your mind
Sit with me and share this time
Now lay your head upon my chest
Let my love for you do the rest
