Mother's Day In Heaven
If there's Mother's Day in Heaven
I bet thery're gathered round
They're mingling with the angels
Wearing Heaven's sparkling gowns.
If there's Mother's Day in Heaven
Would Jesus be the son?
Handing out the roses
Until they each have one.
If there's Mother's day in Heaven
Do angels cook the meal?
Do they serve it to our motheres;
Heaven's tender, juicy veal?
There is a Mother's Day in Heaven
Because Mom is living there;
She's dining with the blessed
In a hand carved, golden chair.
There is a Mother's Day in heaven,
And Mom's the special guest
Amdist the Heavenly beings
She shines above the rest.
