Mothers Day

It’s been so long since she has gone
And still
I miss her

My heart fills with the grief of my loss
The tears fall
And I remember

She was so like my best friend now gone
And now
I miss them both

Mothers Day with flowers and presents
And memories
To make us cry

The façade of happy mothers faces,
Some in truth
Some lies

Go forward - enjoy your Mothers Day
And remember
Things past

And try.
Try,
Not to cry.
