Mother's Day

*HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY*

To that blessed woman whose belly we were formed
To that beautiful soul whose blood and water we first fed on
That woman who condoned òur excesses even before our birth
To you mother, whose milk first gave us strength

To her whose bosom we first laid
Whose look and smile transmitted love and passion
To you whose prayers cleared the way for us
Whose care and guidance made a path through the jungle for us
To you our mother, whose hand has forged heroes and conquerors
Dear mother whose shoulder we found peace, solace, love and courage.

To you mom who has birthed beautiful generations
Generations to keep the world alive and full
The one who fulfils the commandment of God
You've made the earth multiply its inhabitants
Thanks for the beauties and cutes you gave us
Thanks for the queens from where I made my choice
Thanks for the love you've spread with your deeds

Blessed you are in the day through to the nights
You are honoured from the peak of the plateaus to its valleys
Bountiful are you in yields and values
Your worth remains immeasurable and incomparable
We celebrate you from the rise of the sun to its set in the far west
To you ma, a precious mother, supporter and builder...
Happy mother's day to you ma.
