Mother's Care
Mother’s care*, great beauty of best degree
virtuous legacy to pedigree.
Mom’s approving smile brings joy’s prevalence
Marked with triumphant lingering silence.
With her loving reprimand of cheer’s flow
brings transforming act midst discipline-glow.
Her prayer of long suffering moments
upholds duty-sacrifice engagements.
By her gentle touch, I feel God’s comfort
leaving wondrous assurance of grace fort.
*Psalm 22:9 But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.
