Mothers

From the first time you felt that little kick
To the first time you stared at those innocent eyes
    Full of life and beauty
To the first time you touched the little hand
And felt every smooth angle
To the first time you looked at those feet
    Full of wonder and vigor

The little being that make your whole being, one whole mighty gift
The little beings that make your whole existence, a miracle
One smile at a time
One step at a time
Happy mother's day
