Motherhood

My mother is my rock, my safe place to go
She is my light in the darkness, my hope and my home
I feel her love in all that I do,
It's the one thing that I can always count on and true

She's been there for me through thick and thin
She's my shoulder to cry on, my strength and my kin
She's my best friend, my teacher, my guide
She's the one who helps me to stay strong and abide

No matter what I'm going through,
She's always there with a hug and a truth
I love her more than words can say
My mother is my everything, each and every day.
