Mom kept sharing her wisdom since before I was sixth
Ignited lovingly in her heart with fervor caring depth.
She said, “If you always pray or talk to God, He’ll send angels
God guides you anywhere, anytime with or without problems.”
She patiently gave pieces of advice not only when I was twelfth
Incessant reminder with my siblings, she’s our bright light bulb.
Keeping her best to mold us with great tenderness and warmth
Saying, “Think before you do or say, choose what’s right not false”.
“Love, respect, share, forgive and understand other’s foible
Perfection is only in heaven, not found in material worlds.”
She’s my crying shoulder when I’m in pain and in wounds
‘Till adulthood, she’s my best refuge when I’m anxious.
If once and a while she got mad to us like a hungry monster,
It’s an unconditional love…her heart-wreckage if we’re spoilt.
