Mother of the Earth

Mother of the Earth, give comfort to thine young… they weep with your setting, Devastated by the parting. Pale, and new, She is the virgin bride. Pure in her own light, She is the beginning of all life. Glorious in her strength, She glows bold into the night, She is Empress to the weak, Goddess to the awed. She is Mother and Protector, Lover to all. Now as the wise Crone wanes, Our hearts do weep, -To hear the song, Of Eternity. Mother thine wisdom is great -But thine strength fades: Move into me, what thou wish to grow on, glow forevermore, within the orbit of my heart.
