Mother Nature's Lullaby

Fall came to my door today In colors of red and gold. The sky was clear The air was crisp. As I walked along a leave strewn path I watched the squirrels play, listened to The birds serenade and marvelled at The beauty before me. Some find Fall depressing They say it speaks of death and ending. But to me, It's just Mother Nature Singing her children a lullaby Before she sends them off to bed. Josette Davis Key 2013
