Mother Nature

Oh Mother Nature’s sister brother
Why so cold and distant
Did she run away from home?
Was she a bad daughter?
Maybe she’s grown now
Maybe she doesn’t want to talk to you
She knows one day you’ll make it here
One way or another
Are there others?
The masses say
Such foolish questions
Can't help me get a bit said
Too bad I already gave
All my tears to the moon
For I would one day send one for you
If she ever gets better dear
Mother’s not nearly dead
