Mother Nature

I see her everywhere I go Mother of the earth, splendid soul Filling everywhere with her harmonious presence Holding everyone on an irresistible reverence She dwells in the sky above, so blue With the smiling sun and the silvery moon Up there, she is a graceful goddess Clothed with the rainbow, ready to bless In the fluffy-frilled flowers do I see her The butterflies commend the taste of her nectar And her rose is a symbol of happiness So beautiful is she that all adore her dress She dances in the movement of the trees Whirling round and round in an enchanting bliss The singing nightingale, the violin-voiced canary Tells us more of her musical tendency In the heralding cuckoo, in the clarion call In the waving sea, in the gushing waterfall And that of the sweeping gentle breeze Do I hear her fluty voice that never cease Mother nature, your beauty surpasses all Nothing can change that, nothing at all No wonder the poet forever extols you And the artist keeps on painting you.
