Mother Nature

She who is among us
watching everything humans do,
looking at our destruction,
not knowing why we do it.

Thinking of punishment,
dealing with force or finesse;
it was her magic power.

We tear down her trees,
we set up buildings,
homes, and roads.

She sends us warnings,
she gives us earthquakes,
tornados, and strong winds.

But, no matter what humans do
if we continue to destroy all she gave;
she will continue to demolish
all that we have made.
