Morning sun caresses my skin Opening hearts and hope within Leaving me with love that will begin A new dawn lighting the way to win Afternoon sunshine bathes my dreams Echoing through my heart’s extremes Showing me the way to joy It seems Gracing the silence along rushing streams Evening glows with the dusk in the skies Reaching the truth with eloquent advice Touching the skin with passionate cries Reaching the depths, flowing love’s guise Night brings the moon to caress the dark Making teardrop seem to whisper hark The spirit is alive and filled with a spark Of mystery that hopes love hits its mark From morning to night, nature purifies life Holding the hand through worry and strife Keeping love alive even as might a loving wife Promising hearts that affection wins over the knife Mother nature knows the answers to it all Being so majestic that it makes me feel small In her arms, many of us enjoy a heartening fall Discovering the embrace of an amazing call Bringing her mystery to charm souls and inspire Awakening a hunger that feels like a real fire On the inside where appetites of fauna do admire Keeping God first, the way love and grace require Nature Rhyming Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Brenda Chiri August 6, 2020

Regina, this is absolutely beautiful, descriptively taking the day full-circle in the sweet bounds of nature. Janice
