Mother Knows - Repost For Indiana

Babes
flesh of her
with the audacity
to crown themselves
lords
if not gods
masters of all
all
natural

fools
at her feet

As every kingdom falls
Nature alone
knows immortality

Nature will thrive, no matter how many of us do or do not survive; such a true blessing and gives a flair of optimism.

That is true! She does! I like this poem's vibe. It's vivid, like a painting.

Thank you Danka! I have spent more of my life as a visual artist than a word artist, I am thrilled by your critique! xomo

Great write, Mo; closing lines were terrific. Tart is good, by the way.

Thank you Lawrence! Thought I'd dust this baby off. I haven't yet tried squab. Want to. A fancier, I dream of keeping a flock of homers, and a falcon. As it is, when my two old doves die, I want a pet Giant Runt. Cheers my friend! xomo

Like a dandelion that breaks through the concrete, Mother Nature is indeed immortal, fools are we to cross her path, well worthy of a re-post I say . . . : )

The dandelion and concrete yesss, she's wielded her golden head in more than one of my own poems. Here's looking at you kid! ~xomo <3
