Mother

MOTHER

Who remembers waiting
    to see her children's faces
Fingers, feet and eyes
     weak and feeble cries
          "Mother"

I remember my mother just as you described in this thoughtful poem, Lenna. Welcome to the Soup. I loved reading this poem as my debut foray into your work. Keep on dropping the love and knowledge. May love light your path always. Romantic Warrior

I liked the poem as a good read, it has a very pleasing, relatable quality to it, that's easily recognizable. Emile.
