Mother
It is you that's the root of our families strength
Your Godly love that holds us together.
When we are sad-your laughter brings smiles
Hurt- you bandage our every wound.
Sometimes we get lost, can't find our way
You help us distinguish our night from day.
Even when the time comes one of us must leave
The rest behind to mourn and grieve.
It is you that reassures everything is alright
Weeping may come but, endure for a night
Mother it is you that holds us together
You are the root of our families strength.
