Mother

It is almost a year since

My lovely mother passed away
I miss her more than anyone will ever know
So many precious memories
Shared which will remain in my heart forever

Yet her presence is always with me
Objects she treasured I just adore
Useless items to some, but to me they’re priceless

Many things were left 
Unsaid but one thing is for sure
Mum I love you and think of you each day

Here I am way far away from my mother and I only call her a few times a month, and I can think of none of her possessions I would care to have when she passes away. Of course, I love her a lot, but she and I are opposites in many ways, and she was quite the eccentric as I was growing up. I sure wish I had more time to spend with her like you did with your dear mom

Sometimes when I am cleaning I walk into her closet and touch the sweater I Last pulled for her to wear.
