Most of All I Miss Her Smile

When I look back now I wonder About girlfriends that I had When I was young and headed to Adulthood or so they called it. I’m now divorced, no wife I have. We parted ways years ago. Would one of those I left behind Have been a better wife to me? I’ll never know, we choose but one, Have some daughters and have sons And what life brings we cannot change, No matter if we wanted to. The one I had I loved right well. She had other things in mind… An old boyfriend, parties, dancing And so we parted marriage ways. I miss late life, grandchildren too And growing old together. But, most of all I miss her smile That these days she gives another. W.C.Hull © 2020-18-6-WCH01-WCH1-27 W.C.Hull © 2020-12-7-H1478-2588-I53-K53-1-L61-1
