Was the variation not using the middle word peace in the title? I think you did very well with my form. You should have told me earlier about it. It was my only invented form that Soup told me was "accepted" yet I do not think it has been added into poetry type choices when we use the submission box. No fair. They have footles listed!! Gotta fave this. I see so few Andarees.

P.S. I managed to write some Footles today. You challenged me, so I wrote some for Brian's next contest. You'll have to wait and see if I got them right!

Yes, it was, because I felt folks would tend more to read it if I titled it as I did. I agree that our forms, when approved, should be added to the Types of Poetry. BTW, Emile uses the Andaree often. He's a real master at it. I've read all of his book, and if you don't have them, you should contact him about them. Talk about prolific!!!! Thanks, Andrea for your read and comment.

Yes, Robert, I pray that we will see it in the coming days. There is some slight evidence that the mad man is pulling back a little. I hope so!

This would be a noble act "to back away from war on the brink"

Milton, this is an impressive structure. The wording method, in conjunction with the idea, is flawless as well.

Thank you so much, Sotto. It was my first attempt at an Andaree. I was just hoping it worked!

Strong is the man that can walk away from conflict, there is nothing honourable about being a war mongerer. Tom

This is quite a building, Milton. In addition to the message, the phrasal technique is perfect. Congratulations!

Ah, you are very kind, my friend. I appreciate your thoughts on this poem, an attempt with a format I hadn't tried before.

Great and noble thoughts Milt! If only power hungry greed could take a back seat in this world! This is a very well constructed write, good luck !!!

Thanks, Mike, for your thoughtful and affirmative comment to this, my first, attempt to write something with Andrea's poetry form.

Alas man wants only war.

It would seem that way, Victor, but as I recall even the gods of Greece and Rome were at war with each other. War has been around as long as history!
