Mortal Beings

Why is humanity filled with hardship for some?
And then for others a free flowing clarity
Through the years of Christianity
I have now established a new view
My believes of God have not changed
Just the possibilities of an after life and the journey
The journey of now today
The reasons we choose who we are
It’s no mistake or coincidence who we’ve become
Or what we come here to learn
And perhaps some of us don’t learn
And are forced to redo it all over again
We are truly brothers and sisters
Mothers and daughters
Husbands and wives
Connected from past lives
Experiencing life and its essence
No matter the outcome!

Laura, It surely would be nice if we could do it all over. But what if it's a one shot deal? You know, leave the preexistence, go to earth and are tested, die, go to the spirit world and live together until judgments and then, the final judgment. I guess we have to go on faith and hope we are right. God bless you. This spiritual write is impassioned and well written. Very nice job. Love, Dane

So much thought and faith intermixed in this soft spoken poem, Laura. From a writer who has grown into one with such wise introspection. Well done! ~Carrie
