Morning Sky

I have seen the morning sky
     Turn several shades of pink.
Sun rising through the background,
     Now and then gives me a wink.

This morning's truly better 
     Than the one from yesterday.
For yesterday is now a part
     Of what I see today.

this is a really nice little gem I have found tonight. I just love sweet little poems like this one which also are so meaningful. Are you seeing my sonnets from clicking on the forms and then viewing them first to last? How many sonnets have you ever written?

Hi, Andrea. I'm glad you like this one. I think that's the shortest poem I've written. I have written 3 sonnets so far but I have a couple in the works and really enjoy that form. Quite often it just seems like a perfect way to say what needs to be said. I'll contact you about viewing your sonnets. Thanks a lot my friend.... Robert.
