Morning Side

Morning Side

with human hands shaped dreams through her hair my pretty child
 calmness
 direction
 for sake of reflection
 leaves you second guessing
 shadows in the storm
curse the day you were born
 shattered glass of mass appeal
another game of let's make a deal
the legs were saped with his hands
the children that sat at the table touched with their laughter

 Morning side
 the old man cried
 a notion of his epitaph
 shattered glass
 no free pass
 at a glance
