Morning Prayer
Osda Sunalei Equaa Ududu
I send up gratitude this morn to you
Place me where you see fit on the medicine wheel
Let today's pathway be of your chosen will
When the world seems as an angry place
Let me be one with a gentle face
When all about me is chaotic energy
Remind me to be still and my emotions free
Should distractions pose as obstacles on my way
Provide me the wisdom to walk away
Give me eyes that see the beauty of Earth
And to acknowledge all my sibling's worth
Give me a heart that does not fear to love
Ancestors to guide me from above
Give me feet to walk with only respect
May my deep love for you on this day reflect
In all I say and in all I do
May it cast a shadow of truth
In all I am with humble heart
In prayer, this day shall start
