Morning Offering
Awake! Arise!
Prize your time well,
Daybreak arrives
To cast warm spells.
Light hurls new day
As sun beams stride,
Sight for new play
In love's joy ride.
With a sure heart
Let laughter find,
Watch faith bring art
To peace of mind.
Pray to live best
Your daily fare,
Prize hope's warm fest
As flair meets care.
Look to your soul
To humbly see,
Love keeps you whole
To traverse free.
Keep God in mind
And live bold heart,
All that you bind
Comes as act starts.
Here at the gate
Of dawn's clear smile,
Seize your own fate
Live happy style.
Be good to all
No matter how,
Love comes to call
Right here and now.
Better the fool
Who makes you smile,
Wise is not cool
In stingy style.
Look deeper still
For you will see,
An inner thrill:
Vast kingdom free.
Live well this day
With fine good cheer,
Let your touch say:
Love's way endears.
