Morning Moonlight

Wake to a moonlight morning. See the last stars fade away. Watch the rising sun hide shadows, And paint a brand new day. Colors taken from the rainbow On a brush of fire and gold, Illuminates the fleeting stillness To let a brand new world unfold. Oh, rising sun of fire and gold, Climb past the wicked night. Turn the trials of my darkness Into memory's most glorious light.
