Morning masterpiece

Watercolor clouds wander
in early autumn dreams,
where delicate hues of
pastel woven ribbons
melt against a canvas
of blue chrysanthemum skies,
painting a soft lemon drop glow
in daffodil brushstrokes,
creating a brand new
morning masterpiece
for us to share
