Morning Light Over the Sea

Fresh morning wakens,
Overflows with soft light.
Distant aurora, splashing waves,
Soft azure, wisps of floating white.

Part and see the pale horizon,
Blending images to far and near.
An eternal expanse that time begat,
The light giver shifts her gaze.

Illuminating with a golden haze.
Soft breezes stir harmonious hues.
Pale pastels envelop views,
Half lit scenery, streaming sights.

My heart and soul do thake this blend,
And to my spirit doth attend.

I don't ever remember writing a sonnet myself. But ......this is beautiful. May you have an inspiring day. Love, Carol
