Morning Light

Early in the morning light, I catch a glimpse of you. Looking from you little sight, Your eyes are shining through. I see that little curly head, Peeking out the top. Smiling at me sweetly, I savor times like that. What a way to start the day, With curls and smiles from you. It evens brightens cloudy days With sparkling eyes so new.

What a wonderful, uplifting write here Rita!! Brought back lots of memories thats for sure. My son, who is now 46 (whoa!!!) used to have the most glorious head of curls little 'ol ladies would stop us on the street and say, "What a pretty little girl!" so when he got about 3 I had to cut the curls short but today I'd let them be ... smile ... Your write sure got me started ... LOL ...
