morning in Paradise
Morning in Paradise
The sun warms my face
and also the sea in the bay
It is not blue anymore
silver and white
I wonder why we struggle
to live long
Most of the time, we
are in pain
prodded by a doctor, who
doesn't say what it is
You are too bloody old
The mighty don't worry about age
trying to find a way
to stay longer in power
pain-free
as the sun lit a *** behind
a cloud, I wonder how
It feels like waking up dead
a Sunday morning
