Morning Happiness (A Soup Group Poem)

Morning dust upon scattered sheets,
Heatwaves passing wind spilt paths
stars acknowledge lover's bliss
nature exposed with moonlit baths

as time escapes them ever more
bodies locked in pure embrace
lilies of dreams beguile their minds
whilst hearts a-melding do apace

And so the story often goes
as dawn, in jealousy, appears...
We realize in the light of day
Happiness outweighs our fears
