Notes About The Poem

Morning glory

Summer sun rising every gracefully.
It permeates glorious through my bedroom window.
I feel it tickle my cheek.
A first good morning kiss.

This is why I do not like my black out drapes; I have nailed them onto the ceiling since my husband insists we keep them. I love watching the sun wake me up,much more gentle that those buzzer things.

Funny. We have bric a brac plates on the dining room ceiling. Lots of sunshine, Kai

Absolutely. I totally agree, Caren. And on rainy mornings you get to sleep in.

alludes to a spouse...a cat, or perhaps just the sun. Enjoyed!

I love when my readers fill in the blanks. I hope you do too! Love being kissed by the morning sun ;)

Yes, the reader fills in the blanks. I was trying to describe the gradual invasion of the sun through the bedroom window though.
