This should be painted on a canvas for eyes to see the few words like a hand cradling a young butterfly. Love

You create a beautiful moment with so little words... I remember my childhood visits to the countryside when going with my grandpa to pick up wild mushrooms in the forests of the Carpathian Mountains. We would return home and put them on a wood burning stove top with salt in the middle...YUM!!! Beautiful times long gone :( Anyway, thank you for your comment. Love, iolanda

Oh, how yummy! I love these things. Every year my sister and cousins get together and go hunting. They come back with buckets of them. I have never been but I love to fry them and savor every bite. Looking forward to that. Thank you for sharing. This is an awesome write, made me hungry though.LOL Smiles from Lolita

Excellent haiku Jim, one for my favorites list. the imagery is outstanding. Forest treasure...indeed. golden hued delicacies that I love so much. It's that time to hunt for them here and I will think of this haiku when I eat some...Raul
