More Than What You Thought
When you look at me, what do you see?
Defined in order, of life's motif.
I am more than what you think I be!
Do you see a man or the kid undertones in me?
Refined by life lessons, hardened granite I be.
More here breaking, like endless waves in the sea.
But when you gaze my way, what do you see?
A generosity of perfection, and chaos traveled in multiple directions?
There's more than what you think you see!
A rebel and soldier, driven for completion,
a seamstress and artist, is my reflection.
So I'm more then what you thought you seen!
