More Than What Meets the Eye

A face is more than a mere face,

Soft, elegant, majestic,

But sadness runs down and glosses it with magic,

A mere face is more than what is seen in this place,

A tangled, but strong mind covered in white lace,

But still it’s glorious, filled with peace not havoc,

A current in which pulses the body, electric,

Thrusting and hurting your soul, but not in this case,

Truth and integrity hides away,

In the small spots deep inside you,

Just watching time pass till you show up, not tomorrow, but today

And finally see that a face is not just a mere face, it’s everything you are too.
