More Than Me

So you think you can walk out the door, Come back again, Because she's not better than me, So you thought, my eyes would never wonder, My body never needed, A man's touch, Another man calling my name. You say you're sorry, I'm your everything, Because she's not more than me, On an August night, Standing in the rain, Too many night's, My eyes cried over you, Asking why you're not here loving me tonight, Until I saw you standing in the August rain. My world you tore apart, My dreams, you shattered, My love, you threw away, In the middle of the dark sea. Now you've come back, Standing face to face, I'm so sorry you say, As I'm holding you in the August rain, A soft whisper you hear me say, I will only love you always and forever, For eternity.
