Notes About The Poem

A poem of giving thanks

MORE THAN ENOUGH

MORE THAN ENOUGH

Thank you Father,
for our daily bread
Thank you Oh Lord,
that we are all fed.

Father I thank you,
for more than enough,
Enough to eat,
Water to drink,
Enough to share with our neighbor.

Thank you Father
for life and health,
For those who are poor,
and those with wealth,

Thank you my Abba,
for more than enough,
Enough to eat,
Water to drink,
Enough to share with our neighbor.

Thank you my Lord,
for times that are good,
and times that's been hard,
as sometimes they would.

Teaching us you are God,
to save us from sin.
That we are not perfect,
but not just mere men,

You loved us enough
Sons and Daughters you call us,
Made us righteous by your blood,
made us joint heirs through Jesus

Thank you my Abba,
In you I do trust,
You are my abundant God,
so much more than enough,

More than enough food to eat,
water to drink,
You’re more than enough to share with our neighbor.
