More Than a Doll

In the 4.5 billion years this earth has been alive
I have and will in comparison be around a short time.
The footprints I have made will eventually cease to exist
and I will be nothing more than a name on a list.
You and me both are a victim of time,
that thing that never stops oh what a crime.
As the ball drops and the new year starts
I will say my resolution most dear to my heart.
You see my resolution this year is the biggest of all
the resolution to be more than another doll.

This is a deep, once in awhile I felt that time was the enemy of us all. I enjoyed the write, and most importantly the title. Interesting concept. Love Skat
