More Tea Or Me

MORE TEA AND MORE OF ME

Yes, the lady took me in from the cold
Then gave me something warm to hold
She was sustenance for my belly and soul
As the fireplace begged for a bit more coal

Outside it was frigid but not inside
She asked “coffee or tea” but I couldn’t decide
Okay, I replied I’ll have tea with sugar and cream
As I lay back hoping this wasn’t just a dream

I appreciated her letting me in and for her tea
But I wanted her to want a lot more of me
I just wanted a touch, a touch here and there
As I slid my ready and sweaty body near

I put my hand on her knee and she slapped my face
Well what the f**k happened to a comforting embrace
So to the kitchen I slicked for a knife while she was crying
Since my family was in business and their motto was “always leave ‘em dying”
