Notes About The Poem

Inspired ny my friend White Wolf here!!! :)

More

Barely More

the more I scribble words
the more I gaze ....at
life
photography
paintings
clouds
curves
precious hearts
old thoughts
young desires
dead waltzes

the softer I become
beauty discovered
a blind eye at dawn
we are all one
nothing should divide
the utopia of my illusions
flirting

ah but in the dark clouds
of Russian winter
when hate begins to rise up
the bear awakes
I, a bear
take heed
springtime awakens
I will devour all of you
who dare spit venom

then I shall devour
love itself
as she gazes my way
at art

Great Bear, you have outdone yourself with this one, my friend. True poetry with wisdom and wonderment. A fave /|\

Beautiful, Arthur, life is so precious we need to see it for the beauty that it is not the evil. And yes, devour anything that will hurt it... Hugs

I love how you started out with a carefree spirit that almost sounded like a list poem, and held out until it not only epitomized art, and poetry, but it also personified you into a bear. Well done indeed. Lovely!
