Moral Abandonment
The day was long gone as midnight became an opaque obscurity.
Her ebony veneer was
enough to hypnotize.
Smoke clouding homicidal judgment . . .
I stood aloof—
Wondering about death.
How am I suppose to suture such a crimson masquerade;
barely hanging onto the cuff of my blazer...?
The day was long gone as
midnight's moon gazed upon madness, well passed her
expiration.
